The Systems Engineer will be responsible for Tier II administration, configuration, and maintenance of various technologies managed by the Information Technology department. This candidate will focus on the administration of the systems infrastructure to include desktop PCs, servers, and software applications. This candidate must be willing to travel up to 25% annually in support of customer operations. All travel is CONUS.
Must possess an active TS/SCI government clearance. DUTY LOCATION FOR THIS POSITION IS IN LAS VEGAS NV. Three to five years of system administration experience - Experience with Windows 2000/2003/2008XP - Ability to function independently as well as work with a team in a collaborative environment. - Strong written and verbal skills. - Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. - Strong troubleshooting capabilities - Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of desktop operating systems and applications - Administration of Microsoft Exchange. - Administration of Active Directory. - Administrator of DNS and DHCP - Desktop baseline experience - Provides emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule. - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Industry Certifications - MCSE / Security + (DoD 8570 requirement).
